This very basic survey is used to gather data so that a scale drawing, or plat, can be drawn. This plat will illustrate the property lines, the distance along these lines, bearings, and total acreage. The plat will also show any improvements made to the property, as well as any encroachments. Property corners will be flagged and any missing pins will be reset.
